Thoughts to Change Your Life With

"One bleeding-heart type asked me in a recent interview if I did not agree that 'violence begets violence.' I told him that it is my earnest endeavor to see that it does. I would like very much to ensure--and in some cases I have--that any man who offers violence to his fellow citizen begets a whole lot more in return than he can enjoy."

Mormonism and the Presidency

Nations beware!  The USA might actually elect a GOOD man for president this year.  And I mean that in the most literal fashion possible.  I am not talking about people you meet who happen to also know somebody else you know and you both sort of non-committally agree that Acquaintance X is a "good guy".  I am talking about a well qualified man who happens to have no discernible sludge of politics begriming his facade.  Who could I be talking about?  Who is the only candidate that has run for office in my memory (about 15 years, sure I am older, but I paid no attention before that, so I don't remember the candidates), for whom nobody seems to be able to pull up any scandal?  No criminal record;  No unlawful activity;  No turbulent and confusing marriage arrangement or divorce; No questionable moral issues; No questionable ties to foreign interest groups?

I am speaking of Mitt Romney of course.  Whom the only strike against that people can come up with is that he belongs the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.http://lds.org  The mystery surrounding this issue is pure unadulterated laziness, peppered with a stark unwillingness to simply find out.  The web site LDS.org lays everything out in simple terms, and is published for the world to read.  The church sends out full-time missionaries to nearly everywhere there are people with no other purpose than to bring the world the truth, by teaching them about Jesus Christ.  I have read some people fling out such absurd statements as "Mormons don't believe in God" and "Mormons are not Christians".  Do you people even know the name of the church?  It is NOT "The Mormon Church" and it NEVER has been.  It IS "The Church of Jesus Christ" and it ALWAYS has been, ever since Jesus of Nazareth founded it during his mortal ministry in Judea.

A note to all media pushers and jounalists: the creation of Wikipedia does not give you all license to just say/write whatever and pretend it is legitimately researched truth.  In fact, the world relies on you to publish legitimately researched and unbiased truth, please do not take that resbonsibility lightly.  Most journalism articles I have read lately seem to read more like a blog, which is the ultimate in un-researched spoutings of common citizens, myself (and the current article) included.  The does not pay journalists to publish blogs, we pay them to deliver correct, informative research about current events.

There seems to be a great deal of non-reason and loss of American values in association with this issue, Doug Robinson's article at the Deseret News says it well I think: http://deseretnews.com/article/content/mobile/0,5223,695242228,00.html

Americans, take this chance to learn truth, find out about the candidates for presidency, learn as much as you can, vote your conscience.  But do not allow pandemonium, rhetoric, and gossip to rule our country.
